Finished the Dusters and Moving On

Today I finished off the dusters. This time I used up some flannel that I had in my sewing room. I am now the proud owner of 10 reusable dusters.

I don't know if I like the flannel ones as much as the green all purpose cleaning cloth ones I made yesterday, but I will give these a try and let you all know how they work.

I have started the Swiffer Sweeper replacement and hope to get that done by this evening. If it does a good job I will make a couple more with my leftover cotton yarn. I hope to have a picture of the finished project to post tomorrow. Well it could be Monday considering I have play practice starting at 5 tomorrow night for who knows how long.

I promised I would post the link to the pattern I used so here it is.

Hope you all give it a try.

Everybody have a wonderful evening.

God bless.

  2. DW the first three were made with something called all purpose cleaning cloths that Harvey picked up at Canadian Tire. I saw something similar at Walmart today. They are a bit thicker than the micro fiber cloths and almost look like they are made out of foam (at least they are the thickness of foam) but are a tightly woven fabric.

Hope you can find them as I like the looks of them better than the flannel ones.
