Busy, Busy

Today started out being one of the busier days this week as far as working around the house.

I cut and dried some of the mint and oregano. Pulled out the remaining cabbage that had been damaged by the hail storm and made Cabbage Bread.

I also pinned and cut out the next three sewing projects that will be done during the upcoming week.

Now I am relaxing.

I am having my version of a white wine spritzer and planning on curling up to finish the book I started yesterday.

I am enjoying my alone time. Harvey went to a football game in Regina so I can more or less do as I please as long as the regular chores and planned chores are done. It is amazing how much a person can get done when they don't have someone hanging over their shoulder!!

I know that I will be happy when Harvey gets home safe and sound, but for now I am enjoying the peace and quiet.
