Sunday Ramblings

Today was fairly warm as far as a winter's day in Saskatchewan can be. I went for a walk after Mass to think about how today's homily perhaps changed my way of thinking.

I always thought that Christ ruled from the right hand of God in heaven. Not necessarily in a castle, but in a house with many rooms. You, know rooms for us all.

Today Father Brian said that thinking like that was not the way Christ ruled. Instead He ruled from the cross.

I think it may take awhile to understand what that means and how it will affect the way I understand my faith.

Still working on making the computer work properly and not getting anywhere fast. I really do believe that we will end up taking it to the computer gurus to work on. Much to Harvey's dismay as he thinks we should be able to fix it in no time at all.

Everybody have a wonderful night.

God bless.

  1. Jackie, a few weeks ago our priest was talking about all of the evil things happening in our world, and he said that it has occurred to him that the Crucifixion is still happening.......this really caused me to meditate. I can see what he means. Jesus suffered for all of our sins...those sins are still here and seem to be increasing...Jesus still suffers because of the evil that is allowed to keep happening. I do believe Jesus rules from the right hand of the Father, but his saving power comes from his sacrifice on the cross. So maybe Father Brian is thinking along those lines.
