Frugal Friday

Overall it has been a pretty frugal week.

1.   Shopped with a list and managed to get some very good deals. A ham for $10.00, some noodle mixes at 10 for $10 just to name a few.

2.   I had 4 no spend days.

3.   Used up many of the leftovers, making them into totally new meals and to make matters even better some of those new meals served us for two nights. That saved meat and veggies which can be used in other meals another week.

4.   Worked for a day this week and picked up another subbing gig. That will make three days work during the next pay period.

5.   It has been sunny this week which means fewer lights on and having the drapes open has allowed for frugal solar heat through those south facing windows.

Just have to show all of you a picture of how far along I am on the red coat.

Slowly but surely getting done. I hope to have the sleeves and the part of the collar done tomorrow as well as the lining pinned and cut out. I am reaching some complicated parts so things could be moving along even slower.

Everybody have a wonderful evening.

God bless.
