Menu Monday

The first full week of October is here, and from the looks of the upcoming weather forecasts we may be wanting to eat some hearty and warm meals.

Monday

Moussaka made with the last few eggplants from the garden.

Tuesday

Hot dogs, home made fries and Cole slaw. Perhaps the leftover roasted veggies as well (if I don't eat them for lunch one day).

Wednesday

Leftover ham made into a casserole with pasta or rice (haven't quite figured that out yet). Serving some roasted Brussel sprouts.

Thursday

Clean out the fridge night.

Friday

Glace and eggs. The oldest will be home sometime tonight so I need something he can warm up.

Saturday

Smoked sausage, baked beans, pasta and because the DS's birthdays are next week birthday cake for dessert.

Sunday

Traditional Thanksgiving meal. This means roast turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, salads, and peas. The dessert will be pumpkin pie and whipped cream.  Should have lots of leftovers to send back with the sons to nibble on for the coming week. Any leftover turkey will be bagged and frozen for future usage.

Everybody have a wonderful day.

God bless.
