The days have been cloudy and cool, the long range forecast does not seem to see an improvement in weather conditions. I guess fall and the lead up to winter is truly here now.
We still have lots to do in the yard, and I hope to get more done tomorrow after Kurt leaves for home.
Even while Kurt and Kris were home I worked on decluttering, finishing off projects that in turn are using things up from my various stashes. This will make life simpler in the long run which is definitely what I am striving for. The less clutter and the less "stuff" in the house will definitely give us more room and definitely less stress.
We will be getting our flu and Covid shots this week. Thus making sure we will be healthy for the winter. I do know there are some that do not agree with the Covid vaccine, but really considering the millions that have had the shots, and continue to receive them I think the chances of dying from them are pretty small contrary to what some post.
Everybody have a wonderful evening.
God bless.

We had a little rain and nice mild temperatures in the 70’s. Perfect. I think Fall is here!
ReplyDeleteWe got the flu and covid shots. Our children and grands, too. With jr. in charge of our health, GOD help us, we have to watch out for ourselves. What could possibly go wrong?
ReplyDeleteOur youngest son left today after spending three days with us. It’s always hard to see them go, isn’t it? He’s about seven hours away. Our other son, too. He did say he wished we lived a bit closer, the first time he’s said anything about it.
I am up to date on my Covid vaccines, dear Jackie! Good for you to get these vaccines! Yes, it is very important and Covid is worse than the vaccine!
ReplyDeleteI need to get my flu vaccine, I will make an appointment for this...this month!
God bless you, dear friend.
I'm enjoying every good weather day I can because I know that too soon the white stuff will make an unwelcome entrance.
ReplyDeleteGot our covid boosters last week but the flu shots won't be available until towards the end of the month. Last year we got them both together.
I am a firm believer in vaccines. I’ve gotten a flu shot every year except for the year they had a shortage here and I’ve gotten every Covid vaccine and booster. I’ve also had pneumonia, shingles, and RSV vaccines too, along with the usual childhood vaccines.
ReplyDeleteI’m working outside this week too, trying to get it cleaned up as much as possible before the cold weather sets in for the winter.
We have already had our flu jabs, hubby has had his covid, I'm too young this year for an NHS jab, so I will pay for mine, just not happy not getting one.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter and I were able to get both flu and Covid vaccines yesterday. I had booked the flu shots and when we arrived at the pharmacy they had the Covid shots available so did both.
ReplyDeleteThere seems to be more rain in the forecast. Good luck with your yardwork.
I am slowly trying to use up things that we have in our house, be they fabrics/haberdashery, stationery, cleaning products, toiletries, food that I've stocked up on, etc. I'm fed up of having too much stuff waiting to be used and it helps save a bit of money which is all good.
