I was still working outside of the home then so would often lie in bed thinking that at least I was resting. So now when I get 5-7 hrs of uninterrupted sleep I think I'm ahead of the game. I've been experiencing the 5:00am wake-up call often since the time change in November. I don't have to worry about disturbing any one in the household so I get the coffee on, read, listen to the radio for an hour or so before getting the day started out of bed. I notice that you didn't say you were ready for a nap just ready for a quiet time. The luxury of retirement allows us to schedule our activities as they suit us.
