Friday Happenings

So we are at Kris's  place. The guys are watching hockey and shortly will be doing some knitting.

The sun is shining and it seems the rain has stopped for a bit. Tomorrow looks pretty good for the festival. It could be warmer, but we will take what we get.

Kris has made some raised beds for his garden and eventually plans on adding a few more.

He does have to get rid of many dandelions. I think I might help a bit by picking the flowers to make some salve when we get home. I will probably pick them on Monday morning.

Kris and Eiko enjoying our visit.

Everybody have a wonderful evening.
God bless.

  1. Hi Jackie, we got some rain 🌧 here in Montreal today, which is good šŸ‘ because we had 3 hot and humid days. There is a lilac tree not far from where I live...I saw and smelled the beautiful purple šŸ’œ lilacs before the rain. Sadly with the high heat and humidity they will and die. I was grateful to see it before this happens. Thank you so much for your posts.

  2. He’s done a great job with those raised beds. I bet it does your Mama’s heart proud to see how he’s taken to growing food.

  4. Enjoy your visit, Jackie. His raised beds look so nice! Have you ever made salve with comfrey? I got a small tin of it after my knee surgery and it works so well at relieving some nerve pain.
