Just a very quick post tonight. The smoke from the wild fires in northern Saskatchewan have finally reached us. Each hour the smoke gets worse. It creeps ever closer down the valley and is making it's way closer to our home. I feel so sorry for those who have suffered more and have had to leave their homes.
I hope all are safely in areas where they have found refuge, and that the fires will be put out, or at least under control very soon.
Everyone have a lovely evening.
God bless.
I saw those fires on the news. Stay safe with the smoke and use a mask. Here in California we are well practiced in wildfires unfortunately. Hoping for rain for you all.
ReplyDeleteI will keep you and the other people in my prayers, Jackie. We will be getting them soon in Quebec as well, we do every summer. Stay safe, dear friend, and thank you so much for posting this. God bless you.
ReplyDeleteVery worrying times for you, hope you all stay safe.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear that you've got wild fires in your region. Stay safe.

ReplyDeleteSeeing the map of all the wildfires is really frightening. I pray for those who are displaced and also for those battling the fires.
ReplyDeleteThe smoke in the air was horrible yesterday and apparently is expected to be worse today. However, I agree, those who have had to evacuate their homes and communities have it far worse.
ReplyDeleteI'm not certain the fires, especially the Shoe Fire will be under control anytime soon. My brother was up in that area last week and head to do some re-routing to make his way home. He said it's just devastating.
I was so worried about you all when I heard about the fires. Please stay as safe as you can!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds so scary, I'm thinking of you Jackie. Hopefully the wind will change and blow it away.
