Hello all, we are back from our visit and attending the Highland Gathering in Regina. I will talk more about that tomorrow, for now I will be trying to catch up on all you have been doing, and do a regular Monday post.
Monday
We plan on foraging for our supper tonight as we had a later lunch on the way home.
Tuesday
Baked Spaghetti and a salad.
Wednesday
Soup and sandwiches (I have some potato soup to use up in the chest freezer).
Thursday
Leftover baked spaghetti and the remains of the salad.
Friday
Perogies, sour cream and fried onions.
Saturday
Sausages, mashed potatoes and rutabaga, green beans.
Sunday
Stuffed Chicken, roasted potatoes, roasted carrots, coleslaw.
So there you have it. Meals for this week. Some of which have been changed a little bit. Soon I will need to be making next months menu's as well.
Off to try and catch up.
Everybody have a wonderful evening.
God bless.
Hi Jackie, your meals sound great! And I love rutabaga! I can have it mashed by itself or with carrots, it is just delicious!
ReplyDeleteYum - i all sound tasty to me.
ReplyDeleteCan’t wait to hear about the Highland Games and the weather! ☔️
ReplyDeleteOoh I love perogies!
ReplyDeleteFriday, please! I LOVE pierogi!!!
ReplyDeleteThat all sounds delicious, Jackie. We really enjoy baked spaghetti here.
ReplyDeleteLooks like another great menu plan!
ReplyDeleteSound delish! My husband makes a good baked spaghetti and I absolutely LOVE perogies with fried onions and sour cream. I've never made them but our favorite Polish restaurant serves the best. Although, we aren't eating out as much so I do not get them as much as I would like.
ReplyDeleteYum, yum!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a safe trip, and although cool, the news indicated the Highland games went ahead. I hope you enjoyed the games and your visit with Kris.
