Saturday Roundup

We have reached a temperature of 29C today, so the shopping for plants began in earnest.

This is what I have managed to get so far.

This is far from the end of the plant purchasing. I have quite a few more that need purchasing, and then I will see how many I need to actually get the rest of my containers filled.

I did purchase some carrot seeds, and next up will be some lettuce to plant in a container.

Now Harvey says we should have purchased kohlrabi at the greenhouse while there. I will keep my eyes open to see if I can find any here in the city.

No projects finished this week, though the knitted tank is close to being done as is the jacket. I hope to be finished one or both by the end of the week. As many inside goals and projects need to be done as possible. Soon most of my time will be spent outside planting and weeding.

Everybody have a wonderful evening.
God bless.

  8. I love picking out plants! I've never thought about planting kohlrabi, but I wonder if it would do well here. I'll have to check. - Hawaii Planner

  9. I've not purchased plants as yet, though I so very much want to, because I really don't want to be dragging them in and out of the shed for the next week or so. I don't trust the weather forecast not to throw us a night or two of frost.
But it is exciting to walk through the garden centers!

  10. I am envious. It is too early to think of plants here. We still need to make a plan anyway. I am looking forward to seeing how your garden progresses.

  12. Ooh plant shopping, what a treat. I'd love to go out and spend some money on plants. Maybe at some point I'll get around to it. I'm waiting to see what gaps I need to fill before I do. You bought some lovely plants, especially the hydranger.
