Outside Clock

I just had to share this picture of our clock with all of you. For years I wanted a clock outside (why I don't really know, but for some reason I need to know the time) and when my brothers gave me this clock for Christmas one year, well outside it went.

We have only changed the batteries in it once and are amazed at how well it keeps time. We don't bring it in over the winter so rain or shine, sleet or snow the clock keeps right on ticking. It keeps me from spending way to long outside in the sun, and helps me to keep appointments year after year.
It reminds me of God. Always there, always steady leading me to where I need to be. Helping me to realize that my faith is built on rock.

Off to visit all of you. Everybody have a wonderful afternoon.

God bless.

  1. Your garden is gorgeous! Such vibrant colors.
I've thought about putting a clock outside on our patio before, but never have done it because I didn't think it would last. You've talked me into trying it. Like you, I'm keeping an eye on how much sun I'm getting, so it would be very convenient to hang one up somewhere. Thanks for the idea!

  5. Hi Jackie...your yard is looking so pretty, the flowers are gorgeous and what a wonderful cherry tree....and I think your clock is just perfect too.

I'd love that rain barrel....we are going on meters soon and it would be so helpful, plus we really haven't been getting near enough rain, it would be good to store some...I've got to see what hubby thinks..I enjoyd your garden..hugs, Linda
