Thought I would share a few pictures of what I have been up to this week.
Another quilt top. It is slightly strange as I ran out of one colour of flannelette squares and is an odd shape. More rectangular than square. As I plan on using it as a lap quilt it should work quite well.
The beginnings of the Christmas ornaments that were the project for this week. I got this far and then realized I did not have everything needed to finish the project. Things have been ordered and will hopefully arrive very soon.
It has been cloudy so not much work done on the cross stitch project. I am hoping for a bit more sun so I can move things along.
Since I am unable to finish the Christmas ornaments right now I thought I would draw another number and get started at least on another project for the month. I managed to draw the number that corresponded to making some Christmas cards and note cards. I hope that I can manage to finish this project over the next few days. Pictures to follow sometime soon. I must remember I have to make envelopes for them as well.

You are so good to have so many projects in progress. Like how you are drawing a number to pick what to work on.
ReplyDeleteI'm helping The Husband and youngest daughter make small progress on the front porch build. I only have 8 more planks to seal, for the porch floor, and was going to do that today but it was soooooo cold & windy that I feared the sealant would freeze on my brush (I do it outside). So I'm hoping for two things: a good night's sleep tonight, so I feel rested & energetic tomorrow... and good weather tomorrow, so I can get those planks done. You have made good progress this week, Jackie. I can't wait to see both projects finished... especially those ornaments. They look gorgeous already! ~Andrea xoxo

ReplyDeleteOh, I'm looking forward to seeing the finished Christmas ornaments. As you know I've been making some and I love seeing different ideas.
More crocheting and stitching happening here. I'll probably start on a Christmas wreath for my daughter, as I picked up the rest of the materials yesterday. Maybe we'll work on it together when they are here on Sunday.

Lovely projects. I am going to make car quilts with denim scraps, well if the shop will let me. I think I am running out of work and then I get bombed.
