It is hard to believe that this is the last full week of March and that we are so far into 2025. Life is just moving way too quickly.
Menu plans for this week see me using up pretty much the last bits and bobs from the freezer basket in the fridge. Pretty sure I will be adding to it though as the weeks progress. I have decided that every month or so I will have a clear out of all those odds and ends the seem to accumulate.
Monday
Lazy Cabbage Roll Casserole.
Tuesday
Pulling out the container of bean soup and using that up.
Wednesday
Trying to use up some more of the chicken strips, served with the leftover rice (was going to make fries, but need to clear out the rice) and frozen carrots.
Thursday
This was supposed to be roast leftovers from the bag of leftovers we had on Sunday. Not going to happen, so I think I will pull some garlic sausage and mix that with some rice, tomatoes and spices for a couple of meals (one will need to be frozen).
Friday
Breaded fish fillets, fries, and coleslaw.
Saturday
The container of turkey chili in the fridge freezer served over pasta.
Sunday
Roast ham, mashed potatoes, coleslaw left from Friday, and the remains of the frozen broccoli.
Lunches will be any leftovers that are not enough for another meal for the two of us, sandwiches, or the occasional egg.
Breakfast for me will be yogurt or toast.

Cabbage Roll Casserole sounds good and I have several cabbages to use. Thanks for the idea.
