Ahh, another week begins.
I think we may have entered a third wave here in the province, well in all of Canada. This just when restrictions were being lessened. I fear it will not be long before the restrictions begin once again.
Monday
Chili and toast.
Tuesday
Sausage casserole.
Wednesday
Clean out the fridge night.
Thursday
Pork chops, green beans, mashed potatoes, and salad.
Friday
Kris should be home at some point today as it is his EDO. I think that Glace will be just what he would like for supper tonight.
Saturday
There is a package of leftover chicken in the fridge (though as I forgot to label said package it could in fact be turkey) and I will make this into a casserole served with the remains of the salad from Thursday.
Sunday
There is a package of leftover roast in the freezer so I will warm it up and serve it with a cabbage dish, and some rice.
I really need to bake bread this week. I will get Harvey to lift my bread machine onto the table and get a loaf or two made this week. I am tired of buying bread. It just does not taste as good.
Everybody have a wonderful evening.
God bless.
What is Glace, your planned dinner for Friday when your son is home?
ReplyDeleteno it doesn't, and it doesn't have that lovely aroma which wafts about the house either..enjoy your baking.
ReplyDeleteYes, I think the next wave of the virus is coming too, Jackie... in various degrees in each country. We were warned of this by Dr. Osterholm. I'm grateful for my home, that's for sure. ~Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteHope it isn't a new wave of the virus for you.. Thank you for your encouraging comment on my blog as we go through this house selling and buying, I know we'll move but just stressful!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good meal plan. Jean
ReplyDeleteA lovely meal plan, sounds good. Sorry there appears to be another wave I think we are all getting to the point of having Covid fatigue we are all so fed up with it all.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you all may be entering the third wave. I will be so happy when this is all behind us and I know you will be too.
ReplyDeleteYour menus sound delicious.
I didn't make brad this week, but I did make some muffins.
I hope you have a good week, Jackie.
