Brrr, still cold here. Hopefully tomorrow will start to see a change in weather.
Monday
Sweet and Sour Meatballs (pulled from the freezer), rice, and a tossed salad.
Tuesday
A package of the leftover chicken made into a casserole (so hopefully I will only have to warm it up on Thursday). Served with the remains of the leftover salad.
Wednesday
Sloppy Joes made with a container pulled from the big freezer. Coleslaw to go along with it.
Thursday
Leftover chicken casserole, or perhaps leftover Sloppy Joes. Served with the remains of the coleslaw.
Friday
Lazy perogies.
Saturday
Chicken burgers, home made fries and a salad.
Saturday
Roast pork, roasted potatoes, roasted carrots and leftover salad.
I am trying to use up some of the meals I had made previously and put in the freezer. This week I will be using up two such. Hopefully a few more next week.
Everybody have a wonderful evening.
God bless.
I love sloppy joes and make them quite often for driveway picnics in the summertime. I eat the meat by itself or over lettuce with cheese on top & that's good too. The idea of a driveway picnic sounds far far away at the moment, doesn't it. ~Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteSounds delicious Jackie We had salmon patties yesterday and still have some left for today, so that works.
ReplyDeleteJackie, is your lazy perogy recipe the one that uses a lot of butter and sour cream? That is the only one I have seen.
ReplyDeleteI don't use a whole lot of butter. Just enough to dampen the noodles, and put on the bottom to keep the noodles from sticking. Sour cream wise I serve it on the side and we may or may not put a dollop on top.
DeleteIs the recipe you have like a lasagna? Mine is.
God bless.
Yes it is layered like lasagna
