Quick post tonight as it is getting late. I am tired, but not because of overworking.
I made my list of chores for next month, drew a number for a project to work on this week. It's an easy one, just pulling apart an old afghan, washing the yarn and rolling it into balls for use in other projects. Just in case we are locked down.... Must have things to do to stay occupied and sane. Since this is a relatively quick project I should be able to draw another number mid week. Hopefully another short easy to do one.
I was under total budget for the month which is a good thing. I even had 25 days where I stayed home and spent nothing at all. Combining errands is a thrifty and frugal thing to do.
I used my Cricut and made some Christmas cards.
There are 12 cards, 6 of each pattern. I may make some more if I have some extra time.
Two of the butternut squash in the hallway were used to make pie. Harvey really seems to like it. Me, well I am not too sure. I bet the last one or a package of frozen would make wonderful muffins or loaves though.
Everybody have a wonderful evening.
God bless.
I don't know how you manage to always get so much done! I think I piddle around too much and get distracted! I love your Christmas cards, they are very cute. You are right, staying home can save money and these days I rarely leave the house unless it's for groceries or medical appointments.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Christmas cards Jackie.
ReplyDeleteLove the Christmas cards. good for you, being underbudget as I don't go that long without spending $ even if it is small. I should keep track some time. Ha ha
ReplyDeleteSquash pie? I suppose simmilar to sweet potato casserole. Sounds good to me!
The cards are beautiful, Jackie. 25 days at home and no money spent is great! I should keep track of that for this month. Thanks for the idea. :)
ReplyDeleteThe cards are beautiful! I wouldn't have a clue how to make something like that.
ReplyDeleteI really like your idea of making a list of chores or crafts and picking a number. I tend to just bounce around and eventually things get done. :)
You always inspire me.
ReplyDeleteI have never thought to make pie out of butternut squash. Thank you for the brilliant idea!! :) ~Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteSo nice to be able to make Christmas cards. I need to go get my whole pumpkin and cook it down for the freezer.
