This is my new stove and it is causing me a few problems. I am having a hard time regulating the heat to the burners so at times supper is not really fully cooked before I serve it. Worst culprit....potatoes.

Then today I needed to boil something for 7 minutes and then let it sit for 5 minutes. Guess what the timer only works when the oven is on and I am baking. Hmmm, guess I will have to buy a separate wind up timer or some such thing for times like this.

Still haven't tried the convection mode of the oven. I hope to do so tomorrow as I would like to bake some cookies.

Have I mentioned I would like my old coil stove back?

Think I will go back to working on my embroidery project as that is causing me much less grief.

  1. Jackie. If this is a smooth top stove, you must make sure that all the pans have flat bottoms. For example I cannot use my slightly warped cast iron or my very curved saute pan.

    I use the timer on my micro but I have the same problem.
