I was away for > 1 week and didn't have to do any meal planning, just help out with some meal preparation. What a treat. Now the holiday is over.Monday - vegetarian tikka masala naan pizza. And because there were fresh raspberries, a raspberry pie with ice cream. The pie filling didn't thicken but it was plenty tasty with ice cream. I think it was the best pie crust I'd ever made.Tuesday - dinner out to celebrate a friend's birthdayWednesday - corn on the cob (not from the garden) with some special toppings (as seen in the July/Aug issue of Chatelaine)Thursday - BBQ steak, potatoes, green beans (canned mustard beans today)Friday - grilled chicken with sautéed kale (form the garden)
I meal plan and batch cook then freeze, this allows some flexibility in what I fancy on any particular day!
