Just a short menu plan this week as we will be heading up to Kris's for a few days before we leave on our cruise. I will be taking up all that could spoil while we are gone that is left in our fridge. As well as at least a meal or two. I am hoping to get out for a meal one night we are there.
Monday
Steak casserole, mashed potatoes, sliced cucumbers and cherry tomatoes.
Tuesday
Two of the leftover stuffed peppers along with some fried cabbage, and the never ending sliced cucumbers and cherry tomatoes.
Wednesday
Butter chicken (or something similar) along with rice, broccoli, and whatever raw veggies are left.
Thursday
Soup and sandwiches (probably egg salad sandwiches).
Friday
The leftovers from Wednesday.
We will be heading up to Kris's at some point on Saturday.

ReplyDeleteAll the planning and anticipation leading up to a trip is so exciting. Your meal plan sounds good. Hopefully one of your neighbours will keep picking the veg while you are away.
ReplyDeleteThere seems to be so much work involved in going away isn't there. All the time spent making lists comes in handy and trying to plan leftovers (and things like fruit and milk) so they're used up before we leave.
