No pictures tonight, I will share our bargain photos with you tomorrow. Just thought I would let you all know our trip to Regina was a big success!! I managed to get thread, fabric, yarn and other goodies at drastically reduced prices and I love it.
The best part of all was spending time with Kris.
Everybody have a wonderful evening.
God bless.
Oooohhhh....Bargains....WONDERFUL! I can't wait to see your scores! I actually did pretty well today. A quilt store near Hubby's work is having a going out of business sale. As it was a really nice sunny day he drove me down to have a look around. It was a great trip (sun roof open all the way!), even if I hadn't done well. The price of the fabric was still much higher than I wanted to pay, but I picked up two patterns (one handbag and one placemats), thread heaven, applique glue, a new thimble (can't find one I am happy with) and Quilt Soap. All were 25% off and since I bought them in a brick and mortar store, no shipping! That is the second quilt shop I frequent that has closed in one week! Hubby also took me to the one about 5 miles from the house, but there was not a parking space in sight. I don't think there were EVER that many people at the store in the past, the reason she is closing! Unfortunately very small quilt shops just can't get their prices low enough to compete. I'll be honest, I don't buy at most of the shops that are within 45 minutes of me because they are too expensive! I go to Lancaster County (Amish Country) where the prices are more reasonable. Don't forget, can't wait to see pics of your goodies!
