More changes to the weekly menu than clothing changes this week. Mostly due to the fact that meetings are changing our monthly dinner out night, and there are days I just do not feel like cooking anything at all so quick and easy is the thought for the day.
Monday
Leftover Baked Spaghetti.
Tuesday
This was supposed to be date night, but of course I forgot a meeting (Pastoral Council) so we will go out tomorrow night.
I will be serving leftover Chicken or perhaps turkey.
Wednesday
Date night.
Thursday
Porkchops, rice, and mixed veggies.
Friday
Salmon casserole along with some cut up veggies and dip.
Saturday
Soup and sandwiches. I just might have found a recipe to use up a container of ham broth from the fridge freezer...and I even think there just might be a small package of leftover ham meat I can add to it.
Sunday
Roast Chicken, roasted potatoes, roasted carrots and the remains of the cut up veggies and dip.
Hopefully no more changes for the remainder of the month.
Everybody have a wonderful day.
God bless.

Unexpected Meeting
My priest called an emergency Parish Council meeting tonight. Guess my Silent Auction items will have to wait until tomorrow to be posted.
I will visit everyone when I get home from the meeting.
Everybody have a wonderful evening.
God bless.

Back Home From Our Holiday
We arrived back home from our holiday to Vegas late last night. Today was spent doing laundry, grocery shopping and just enjoying being in our own space.
The highlight of the trip was getting to meet Ginger from Enchanting Cottage. It was like meeting a long lost sister. Harvey was a bit worried that I would not recognize her, but for some reason when this lovely lady and her husband walked by I stopped dead and said "Ginger" and she said "Jackie" and we were suddenly hugging each other.
We talked all through breakfast about blogging and the Frugal Living forum where we first met and when the time came to leave, I was so sorry to see her and Wayne leave. My husband is very quiet and the two men got along very well. I sure wish we could have spent more time together, but who knows perhaps some day we will meet again.
Here is a picture of the two of us together in front of some of the flowers in the conservatory. We even have the same hair cut and the same colour hair!
This is a picture of Ginger and her husband Wayne. You can see in their eyes how much they care about each other.
Wayne gave us lots of sight seeing ideas and after we said good bye we followed up on as many as we possibly could.
I do hope that they both had a safe journey to visit with Charlotte. I said many prayers for a safe journey for them.
I will share photo's and stories of our trip in my next post. I just had to share my meeting with someone who I wish I lived closer to. I think that I would be spending a great deal of time with Ginger if we lived closer together.
Thank you so much Ginger for travelling so far to meet me, it meant so very much to me.
Have a wonderful evening everyone. I am off to visit you all.
God bless.

I'm So Excited
Well I found out a few days ago that a good blogging friend lives about 8 hours out of Vegas, and when Ginger found out we were going to be that close the wheels started turning. Her and her husband are going to take a day off work, drive to Vegas and meet us.
I finally get to meet someone that I have gotten to know and care about through this medium. I never thought in a million years that this kind of opportunity could ever take place. I just hope that I don't disappoint her.
No pictures to share with you all tonight.
I am still digging my way out of the snow banks every morning to get to work, and driving over terrible roads to get home after work. Tonight the temperature is dipping quickly and with the wind chill factored in will be -45C before too very long. The deep freeze is not supposed to last very long thank heavens, the children at school really need to get out in the fresh air, race around and lose some of that excess energy.
Well off to visit all of you. Have a great evening. God bless.
