I promised you all some pictures of the items I have managed to complete so far.
My newest nightgown. A quick and simple sewing project.
The finished (well kind of as it needs another really good pressing) jacket.
And lastly the gathering of the blocks for the next flimsy. Thinking seriously about surrounding each block with a bright colour, thus getting rid of some more cut strips as well.
Lastly a picture of our pear tree. This is the most blossoms we have ever had on this tree.
Everybody have a wonderful evening.
God bless.
Your new sewing creations look just wonderful Jackie. Love the check of the jacket. Gosh you are sure going to get a good pear crop this year - how wonderful. xx
ReplyDeleteImpressive Jackie!
ReplyDeleteYour pear tree looks amazing. One house I lived had a pear tree which gave me pounds every year, too many for me so I gave most away and made a pear compost heap with the rest!
ReplyDeleteLove your jacket, looks perfect for a cool day.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteThe jacket and nightgown look lovely. Will you get fruit from the pear tree or do the birds get to them first?
I like the nightgown and the jacket! You’re right, the pear tree is loaded!
ReplyDeleteLove your jacket and nightdress. Well done.
ReplyDeleteSo impressed with clothes sewing, Jackie! Yes, bright colours would go well with those plaid blocks. Beautiful tree too.
