Saturday Roundup

Today I will share with you what I have managed to get done decorating. Mostly of course the living room and starting the dining room. Next week I plan on working on the hall way (a bit of a tidy needed out there once again) and perhaps I will be lucky and get a few things done in the kitchen as well.

This is most of what I have managed to get accomplished in the living room and dining room. I am going to add some beads to the garland above my curio cabinet and the hutch.

This is about as far as I have gotten in the hall way right now.

I will be making a wreath for above the seat, and I hope to add some decor to the hall window as well. I will say that Mrs. Snowlady does not seem to be appearing in my gallery pictures. If she ever does I will add her to my other decor pictures.

Everybody have a wonderful evening.

God bless.

  3. Wow, lots of work! It looks like a fairly large home which can be difficult to ‘fill’ for Christmas. You’re doing a great job!
I’ve put out a three foot, vintage white tree and decorated the mantle. We’re in 600 sq. ft. so it’s not difficult.

  5. I really like snowmen decorations. Your view out your picture window is nice with all that snow. It looks so cozy! I like your curio cabinet - I've always wanted on but now I don't have a place for it and I'm not wanting to part with the pieces I already have. Your China cabinet is lovely. I want a skinny tree. Maybe next year and I'll donate the tree I have now.
I did almost all my decorations this afternoon and I'm tired. Just a few little things left. Wash the Christmas towels, napkins etc. It sure is a lot of work!

  11. There always seems to be a lot of climbing involved when putting up garlands and decorations. Be careful on ladders or step stools, wont you.
