So I went shopping yesterday and could have cried over how much prices are going up over all.
Definitely more than last time I went shopping and way more than last year at this time. Still I did manage to get lots on sale (though sale price was the regular price even just a few months ago).
So here is my shopping, and yes I did purchase a small roast beef which was on sale, but one of the reasons I almost cried.

I think I might need Kris to get things working properly once again, or find my silly camera which seems to have disappeared in the house.
Life seems to be getting slightly complicated rather than simplified.
Off to get supper completed, a visit with all of you and then work on a project or two.

ReplyDeleteWe went shopping today at Meijer. It’s an hour away. My husband wanted oil for two cars so that bumped the total up to 150.00! They’re giving out 10.00 coupons for 100.00 purchase. Silly me, i thought it would be a close call. I got two packages of their sausage links, two salad bags, too many snacks, onions, marked down bread, juice for hubby. There were no mark downs in the meat dept. I can usually find at least one package reduced. Yep, it’s getting scary with the prices.
ReplyDeleteI'm concerned about gasoline prices skyrocketing which will impact so many people along with food prices and availability. Hope you keep finding sales!
ReplyDeleteI only spent $20 today at the store. I didn't need much except milk, eggs, apples and a few other things that I can't remember now.
