My eyes and fingers are still sort of rested and my typing is not as full of mistakes this morning so I thought I would try a post.
The last couple of weeks I have tried to stick to my menus, but things have gotten changed around some what. I am hoping to do better this week.
Monday
Leftover Turkey made into a casserole (hopefully leaving enough for another meal later in the week).
Tuesday
Leftover beef roast thinly sliced, cooked with some onions and then put in gravy. Served over the leftover potatoes, along with mixed veggies.
Wednesday
Clean out the fridge.
Thursday
Hamburger Soup served with bread. Another test of the Instant Pot. This time in slow cook mode.
Friday
Fish fillets, home made fries and hopefully slaw made from the remaining cabbage.
Saturday
Hamburgers, beans, and leftover slaw.
Sunday
Roast Chicken, roast potatoes, and roasted carrots.
I have an appointment to see the bone specialist this afternoon. Hopefully everything is still in place and healing well.
Everybody have a wonderful day.
God bless.
Prepping food with your broken wrist must be difficult at times. Your menu looks great.
ReplyDeleteIf one-handed typing is difficult, so must be food preparation. Is your husband any help in the kitchen? I was put off schedule last week with an episode of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). I couldn't lift my head off the pillow without vomiting let alone make it to the kitchen. It's taken awhile for my head and stomach to settle but I'm happy to say that I'm back on track. Good luck with your dr appt this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteMon - leftover stuffed meatloaf w/ potato salad
Tues - beef stew
Wed - Italian skillet supper (Italian sausage with rice/tomatoes/peppers)
Thurs - leftover turkey noodle soup w/ grilled sandwich
Fri - dressed cauliflower & fish
If I had the appetite it would be the roast chicken this week.
