Menu Monday

 


It has been fairly cool most mornings here and a few days have stayed pretty cool as well. We are in for a change on the weekend if the weather pundits are correct.


Monday

Chili and toast.


Tuesday

Leftover Beef Stew probably served with dumplings.


Wednesday

Leftover chili served over pasta and a salad.


Thursday

Veggie soup and sandwiches. Probably grilled cheese.


Friday

Fish fillets, onion rings, and salad.


Saturday

Leftover ham warmed up along with leftover salad, and probably mixed veggies. 


Sunday

Roast chicken, roasted potatoes, and roasted carrots. I will make another salad to go with this. Just not sure if it will be a lettuce salad or my version of a Greek Salad.

We are already 1/3 the way through the year. My goodness time is flying by at breakneck speed.

  2. That all sounds delicious, Jackie. This is good chili weather as it’s cold here too, only 55 degrees Fahrenheit this morning.

  3. In reference to the dumplings - my RC is always somewhat horrified that I like to eat mine with ketchup. I don't eat ketchup otherwise but have to have it on dumplings.

  4. My daughter reminded me that May is right around the corner. It almost doesn't seem real with the weather we've had. Time does fly by even when I'm not having a lot of fun. :)
