Saturday Roundup

This week has seen the end of a few projects and jobs around the house.

Hubby is removing some walls in the basement for the furnace install when it happens. I hope to take photos once it is all completed.

I made the cabbage rolls for the winter. I only got 8 trays and once I give Kurt and Kris a tray each that only leaves us 6. I may be making a few more....

I baked bread.

Dehydrated more green peppers, along with some herbs.

I managed to clean out a few more pots of flowers, and hopefully will get more cleaned out when the rain stops (perhaps on Monday).

I decluttered the cold room and Harvey decluttered the storage room in the basement. There are quite a few items we need to take to recycling and a few that can be donated.

I even managed to finish another Christmas gift (that makes two now, pictures to follow very soon).

Spent some time in the sewing/craft room and managed to finish the two tops I had cut out.

They need to be pressed, but for all intents and purposes they are done.

I even got the fabric ready for the next two projects that I want to at least cut out this month. With any luck at all I may even get one sewn (pattern is a very simple dress).

All in all a very productive week.

Everybody have a wonderful evening.

God bless.

  1. I love the tops you made Jackie, particularly the one with the frill around the neckline. Very clever.

  2. Jackie, as usual, BEAUTIFUL blouses! I desperately NEED a productive week. I have been spending all of my free time with my folks and aunt. My mom is doing very poorly and it is killing my dad, my aunt and I. Not one of us is in good health and taking care of mom is becoming next to impossible. My health has taken another turn for the worse. I see a specialist in the city on October 3rd. For now, I am not allowed to drive and IF there is a possibility of me ever driving again, it probably won't be for at least another six months! What I NEED right now is a week of puttering in my sewing room and around my home. Both are being SEVERELY neglected! I can't wait to see more pictures of your beautiful work! God Bless...
