The ending of one year and the beginning of the next happening this week. More menu plans, more using items up, and more making due or substituting if necessary. Should be fun as I am going to try and make even more from scratch this year to see if it really saves.
On to this weeks menus.
Monday
We are going out for supper tonight. My birthday present from Harvey and considering the long list of tasks I needed to complete today, is awesome.
Tuesday
I have a very big piece of garlic coil sausage that needs using so I will try my hand at making it into a Spanish rice type meal. Bound to be leftovers of this.
Wednesday
Leftover Turkey Tetrazzini from Sunday. Cucumber slices and cherry tomatoes as the side.
Thursday
The leftover Spanish rice meal.
Friday
Soup and Sandwiches. Lots of frozen soups to choose from.
Saturday
Pork Chops, rice, and corn. Should be some raw veggies left as well or I could make fried cabbage and onions as well.
Sunday
Stuffed Chicken Breasts, leftover rice, and peas.
Now if the weather is behaving (supposed to get very cold here towards the end of the week), I will be doing the first of the year shopping on Thursday and will be able to add salads once again to our meals.
Everyone have a wonderful evening.
God bless.
Happy Birth Day (whenever it is or was!). Enjoy your dinner out and not having to cook.
