Midweek And Stormy

 

I had so hoped that the storm would miss us once again, but it looks like it has arrived.

While it does not look too bad as of yet, as the night falls and the wind picks up the visibility will be nil. I am pretty sure that Kris will not venture home until Saturday afternoon. The roads should be cleared by then, or at least in better condition.

I went shopping early this morning and so missed all this. I even got our prescriptions picked up and picked up the first batch of finally delivered mail. Not that there was anything really important, but it is nice to once again see mail in the box, even if it is just flyers and ads.

Doing a mini switch around of the menu tonight. We are finishing off the pork stir fry with some rice. The soup and grilled cheese sandwiches will be tomorrows supper. I am trying to clear out the fridge as much as is possible for any leftovers from the Christmas meal.

Off to set the table and then visit all of you.
