The sun has been shining and thing are still melting. I managed to get out for a short walk and to pick up the mail. I don't think much on the way of basement renovations was accomplished as Harvey ran out of a few items and decided a cleanup was necessary. Back to the grind tomorrow.
Frugally speaking I managed to keep to the grocery list with Harvey along. He is totally amazed at the cost of things. It has sure been an eye opener for him.
I have been busy using things up in the freezer which is a very good thing, however stock up time is going to be expensive. We will just have to prepare for that.
Lights are being turned off in rooms not in use and I am looking forward to a reduction in our electric bill over the coming months.

We're running down the freezer here too. Should take a while though with some pretty interesting meals. Sometimes it's difficult to tell what I've put in. Curry today with 2 beef burgers left over from yesterday along with odd veg left around the fridge and cupboard. Roast pork tomorrow.
