Sunday Ramblings

Quiet day here on the old homestead.

I finished the sets of three 4" squares and tomorrow I get to start making the sets into blocks of 9. Then comes the fun of trying my hand at a disappearing 9 patch. Wish me luck.

I  had a tick on my yesterday. I think it was way to early in the season, but Harvey says that with the warmer weather they are probably awakening. Ticks seem to love me so it was only natural that I would be the first one to bring home an unwanted visitor. I do so hope it is the last one.

Everybody have a wonderful evening.

God bless.

  2. A tic in March? That’s awful. I better get our dog’s flea and tic medicine refilled this week.

  3. I really don't like ticks. I remember pulling one out of LB's leg as a child when we were on holiday in Greece many years ago.

  4. You've been keeping your hands busy! Ewww on the tick, I just can't stand them so I avoid going to visit my brother's farm in the spring. I haven't seen any in the city...yet.

    Take care, stay well.

  5. I've never made one, but I do enjoy a disappearing 9 patch.

Ticks are so unpleasant, we're getting them more and more here in the grass on the sand dunes, such a pain.
