Wednesday Happenings

On our way home from visiting Kris we got to see two rather large flocks of geese resting in the fields before carrying on with their flights. This is a picture of the smaller of the two flocks. The biggest one was on the wrong side of the highway and I couldn't get a decent picture.
This is only about half the flock.

I have also been spending much of my free time sewing.

Some more masks. These are going to be mailed to Kurt tomorrow.

Another skirt because I love to wear long skirts in the spring and summer. It does make walking a bit more difficult but I seem to manage okay.

And two dresses.

This leaves me 4 other cut out projects to get done this month. I am slowly but surely getting caught up. I will be making some summer clothing next. Good thing I have an extensive stash of fabric to choose from. But boy or boy when the fabric stores open again I am going to really stock up, especially if it is true about going through waves of Covid-19 until a vaccine is made.

Still knitting dishcloths and will have a picture of those to show you all very soon.

Everybody have a wonderful evening.

God bless.

  1. I cant wait to get to a material store too.

  2. Your sewing is lovely, Jackie, I'm hopeless at it. I look forward to seeing more of your makes x

  3. You are very productive during lockdown Jackie. Well done. You should have a whole new summer wardrobe ready by the time we are allowed to go outside freely again.

  4. Sewing is such a helpful hobby to have. I'm trying to finish a patchwork, but going very slowly.

  5. I love long dresses!!!!!! But they can cause cold legs, in winter, since I can not wear tights.

But soon, I will be able to wear them again! And they are full enough at bottom, to be easy to walk in. -smile-

And now, to a pertinent question... Link in my Sig Line below....

    So.... What happens AFTER??????

  6. I really like the material of the second dress, very pretty!

My cousin's wife posted photos of the snow geese on FB the other day. It's amazing how many of them there are.

    Take care and stay well!

  7. You have been busy. Good idea to stock up with fabric, I plan to do the same.
