The first full week of menus for January. Lots of appliance cooking happening again this week.
Monday
A container of meatballs that I made when batch cooking in November. These will have mushroom soup poured on top and be cooked in the toaster oven. Making mashed potatoes to go along and we will finish off the salad today as well.
Tuesday
Ham and rice casserole that I also prepared earlier. I will make a marinated salad to go along with this. Also cooked in the toaster oven.
Wednesday
Celery Soup, egg salad sandwiches served with.
Thursday
Lazy Cabbage Roll Casserole (made from the saved filling from my Cabbage Bread baking day), once again in the toaster oven. Hopefully we can finish off the marinated salad as well.
Friday
This is our 49th wedding anniversary, and since we are supposed to be getting more snow, I think instead of going out we will order something in.
Saturday
Chicken Legs done in the slow cooker. Serving this with rice, and mixed veggies.
Sunday
Bacon wrapped fillets, baked potatoes, and corn.
So there is our menus for the coming week.
Everybody have a wonderful evening.
God bless.
Happy Anniversary!

ReplyDeleteHappy 49th wedding anniversary. Your menu sounds great, as usual.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary, you will be wise to stay inside in the bad weather. What is your favourite meal to order for home delivery? Perhaps you could make a tasy dessert for afters, to celebrate your special day.
