I really meant to post yesterday, honestly I did. However I started going through my knitting magazines looking for a specific pattern and became lost in all the deliciousness in front of me.
While I didn't find the specific type of pattern I was looking for (can't find it on line either unless I want to pay and arm and a leg for it) I did find lots of patterns that struck my fancy.
Like this lovely all white tunic top.
Or
This chunky grey split neck....... or
These two....or
This long green cardigan..... or
This tunic length sweater. I knit this many years ago and really loved it....
I think you get the picture. These are only a few of the many, many patterns that caught my eye. The magazines containing said patterns are put away so that perhaps in the long, dark days of January I can make a few of them.
Tomorrow we are heading up to Regina. Doing a bit of shopping and visiting with Kris. Perhaps I can find the pattern I need up there.... Without giving away an arm or leg.
Everybody have a wonderful evening.
God bless.
Oh how I wish I could knit!! Some of those sweaters are gorgeous!! My best friend's mom made us both cable knit button down heavy sweater coats with popcorn collars, can't remember the name of the type of color. I wore it all winter long. It was the warmest thing I have ever worn. I had it for about 12 years but once I got pregnant my body changed and it never fit right again. Sniff...I still miss it!
ReplyDeleteLin, there are about 12 more that caught my fancy. All are relatively simple knit and purl stitches, a few with large cables which are fairly easy to do as well. Now I just have to go through my yarn stash and see what I have to make a few chosen ones with.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Jackie,
ReplyDeleteThe grey sweater is very pretty! My grandmother and aunt were very good knitters! I am amazed by people who are so talented!
Have a blessed day,
Shawn
