Ahh, another week of March will soon be done. It seems the older I get the days seem to just whiz right on by. Except for those days leading up to a dental visit.....
Monday
Leftover roast chicken made either into this interesting recipe I found or into my old favorite for those days when I need something quick and easy Chicken a la King on toast points. The last of the cucumber will be sliced and used as a side.
Tuesday
Leftover ham made into a casserole. I have just the recipe in mind.
Wednesday
Clean out the fridge night. Should be a great deal to choose from and since I work 1/2 day this will be quick and easy.
Thursday
I am going to use up a package of small sausage links making something that is new to me. I am going to try and make Toad in the Hole. Not sure what sides, but probably peas or green beans.
Friday
Maple Glazed Trout, rice, and probably carrots.
Saturday
Slow cooker stew.
Sunday
Pork Roast, roasted potatoes, peas & carrots mixed.
We did not have the pork roast on Sunday past so I will make it for this week.
Everybody have a wonderful day.
God bless.
I love toad in the hole, but can never get my Yorkshire pudding to rise. We don't really care and eat it anyway, but it would be nice to get it right.
