Sunday Ramblings

This is the first time since I started dating Harvey, many moons ago, and before converting to Catholicism that I haven't been at Mass for what is the beginning of Holy Week. It seems so strange, no palms brought home to decorate with, no blessing, no larger community.

Yet, just like the first Christians we are gathered in our homes celebrating together. Separate, yet one in our beliefs and hopes. Sending our prayers upwards and onwards for healing not only from this virus that is costing us all so much, but for our world, that we may learn to walk humbly, that we will reach out to those in need, and in love to all those who need us.

My this Holy Week bring you all peace and joy. It is a time of reflection that we will probably never have again. Make use of it.

Everybody have a wonderful evening.

God bless.

  1. Wishing you Peace and Joy, also.

And how interesting. You converted to Catholicism. And I, born and bred a Roman Catholic (as we used so say), began my Journey from it, when I was in my 60's. I say "began," because I am not a person, who could just "drop out." -smile- It was years of contemplation. After I "gave myself" permission to question.

I'm sure we are both happy, in our choices.

    Stay safe

  2. Different for sure with podcast church services and worship in our homes rather than Church. Strange times which will soon become our normal. Stay safe.
