Today I am going to share my quiche recipe from yesterday with all of you.
Pastry for 9 inch pie shell
1 tbsp oil
1/2 cup thinly sliced onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chopped red pepper (I used a can of mushrooms instead)
3/4 cup chopped cooked leftover ham
1/2 cup grated Gruyere cheese (I used a mixture of shredded Italian cheese)
3 large eggs
1 cup milk
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 tsp pepper
Put pastry into a pie plate after making it (you could use a purchased one).
Heat cooking oil on medium. Add onion. Cook 5-10 minutes, until onion is softened (stir often). Add green and red peppers. Heat and stir for about 3 minutes until softened. Cool.
Sprinkle onion mixture, ham and cheese over bottom of pie shell.
Beat remaining 4 ingredients in a bowl. Carefully pour over the ham mixture. Bake at 350 for 50 to 60 minutes on the bottom rack of oven, until filling is golden and set. Let stand for 10 minutes. Cut into 6 wedges.
Enjoy!
Everybody have a wonderful evening.
God bless.
