Today I visited the dentist for my every 4 months cleaning and since I was out and about decided to do all my errands as well. This will help with my trying to save by not spending, and wear/tear on my vehicle. Also because we will be having a carbon tax added to various items it will help save fuel. In fact I am seriously considering buying one of those collapsible shopping carts so I can walk to get groceries every week (this would help with weight loss as well).
Planted some seeds for starters this week. Some are even breaking through already.
Found some more yarn to use in the making of prayer shawls for the next couple of months. Slowly but surely the yarn stash is disappearing. Hopefully I will have it under control very soon.
Making my own salads instead of buying the bagged salads. I get way more and am enjoying them a great deal.
Everybody have a wonderful evening.
God bless.
Jackie, I'm surprised that you get a dental cleaning every 4 months. I just had the yearly dental checkup. I think the medical plan that I'm on allows for 2 cleanings/yr. I'll have to check that out.
ReplyDeleteOur dental plan covers so many units of cleaning and as long as I stay under that number it is covered (small copay as my dentist charges a bit more). However fluoride treatments and polishing are only covered once a year.

I have seen mention of prayer shawls in your blog before .. what is a prayer shawl? 😊
ReplyDeletePrayer shawls are shawls that I (and others) knit or crochet while saying prayers. I say prayers every morning or evening and while saying them I knit. When the shawls are completed our priest blesses them and will hand them out to those in the hospital or to those he feels need our prayers.
