Now here I went and planned hearty stick to your rib meals and the weather has changed. Today we reached 16 C. A perfectly lovely day. Great for going out for a walk or two. Mind you I slept in (got involved in a novel last night and read for a bit too long).
Leftover Chili from Saturday night. I was going to serve it over pasta, but will make us each a slice or so of toast to eat with it.
I will be pulling a bag of leftover roast beef from Sunday out of the fridge freezer and fashioning a casserole or perhaps grinding it up and making a roll served with mushroom sauce and a salad.
Pulling a bag of leftover ham from the fridge freezer and making that ham pasta bake I didn't do last week. We will finish the salad as well.
Clean out the fridge night.
Glace and eggs, along with lots of fried onions and butter (not the best of meals for my cholesterol, but it reminds me so much of my Mom when money was a bit tight...No worries as we are doing just fine).
Baked ribs, rice, and mixed veggies. I will more than likely make a salad here as well.
Pork roast, salad, mashed potatoes and corn.
Any food that isn't used in clean up the fridge night will be used for lunches (which reminds me I have some salmon that I am going to make into a sandwich spread tomorrow).
