Third Sunday of Easter

Today has been relatively quiet. I attended Mass today by myself as Harvey was not feeling very well first thing this morning. He started feeling better in the afternoon and managed between rain showers to get the BBQ area of the extended patio finished. Looks pretty darn good too. Hoping that we can move things around over the next few days and get it totally completed.

Father Brian talked about peace today. True peace, not the peace of people, but the peace of Christ which is totally different. True peace can not be brought about by wars, or diplomacy, rather it is a conversion. We need to forgive and be forgiven in order to find that peace. Yes, Father Brian stressed that even our enemies must be forgiven because they could very well be our room mates in our next life. That has stuck with me throughout the day, makes me wonder if I have truly forgiven my enemies.

The rest of the day has been spent doing a bit of straightening in the sewing/craft room, scanning pictures, reading and working on the cowl I am making for the family reunion.

Harvey has spent the time working on his wine, the patio and watching hockey.

Just another quiet Sunday on the old homestead.

Everybody have a wonderful evening.

God bless.
