Thursday Tid Bits

As many of you know I have spent the last while scanning pictures onto the computer and burning them onto DVD's. Time consuming, but absolutely necessary. Once done, keeping up will be so much easier.

I do have a problem though, I spend lots of time remembering places and happenings of many years ago. Some are extremely happy memories and some are so very sad. But that is life.

I am going to share a few of the photo's with you today.

This is a picture of me on a Shetland pony in front of our house in Scarborough, Ontario. I was 5 years old here, and yes I am wearing a dress. My father did not allow me to wear trousers until I reached high school and even then it was only on weekends.

Here I am around two and half with what could be considered my first pet. Ricky was a very friendly budgie. He would eat out of my hand, and even eat his seeds off my tongue (or so I have been told).

This was my Grade 8 Graduation. I had such a crush on Mr. Story my teacher.

Memories make life so wonderful. Even the sad ones.

Everybody have a wonderful evening.

God bless.

  1. I need to sort through all of our photographs and put them in albums, frames, etc. I keep putting it off for the exact reason you describe here as I know it is going to be emotional. I need to be in the right mood to embark on it.
