Menu Monday

Well, a few changes to the menu for this week. Nothing drastic, just one meal that was leftover from a day late last week.

Leftover sausage casserole. Harvey says slice up some cukes, tomatoes and green peppers to go along with it and we will have plenty to eat.

Grabbing one container of the leftover chili from the freezer and serving it with pasta tonight. Got to keep working on freezing and cleaning the house, so this will be quick and easy.

Smoked sausages, the leftover pasta (cause there will be leftovers) and a salad.

Homemade soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. I am just not sure what kind of soup as of yet.

Glace, and eggs.

Clean out the fridge night. I am sure there will be lots of bits and bobs in there that need to be used up before we leave tomorrow.

Eating out after the football game.

So there are the menus for this week.

Next week we will be gone. Menu plans are sort of made for that week and hopefully we will be able to BBQ and only eat out once.

Everybody have a wonderful day.

God bless.

  1. Hope you have a blessed and fun vacation....xo

  2. Enjoy your holiday. The menu sounds good, I alway look forward to simple meals like soup and a sandwich.

  3. My granddaughters (aged 8 & 10 yrs) are visiting this week so menu planning involves them. Grilled cheese & tomato soup; souvlaki on the BBQ with garden fresh corn on the cob & caesar salad; tacos in a bowl to use up some leftover chili - will top the menu. I keep plates of fresh fruit and prepared veggies on the counter and they snack on that between the treats that are a must at grandma's.
