This is the first year we have attended the event, and the weather actually accommodated the visit.
We got to listen to some music, enjoy the fresh air, see some people we had not seen in awhile and help out our Salvation Army Food Bank.
Everybody have a wonderful evening.
God bless.
I'm interested - what sort of special passengers?
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely idea. I bet the lights look fabulous when it's dark and the train is moving.
ReplyDeleteIt does look wonderful at night, but we always seem to have it arrive in mid afternoon.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
The train stopped in Regina this week too, but I didn't attend. The crowd is fairly large so parking and traffic is a nuisance. Perhaps one of these years I'll drive out to one of the smaller community stops. I wonder if they keep the lights on as they travel on the rails adjacent to the highway? That would be something to see too!
