Menu Monday

I am trying hard to get back into the swing of making regular posts. Even when I am feeling blah and like there is really nothing exciting happening. So I am going to post my weekly menu.

Monday

Mushroom smothered pork chops, rice and a salad (I was going to make asparagus, but think I will save that for the stir fry tomorrow).

Tuesday

We will be having some type of pork for the third night. I plan on using up the leftover pork in a stir fry (will put some asparagus in here as well as the usual stir fry veggies), Served over the leftover rice.

Wednesday

Soup and sandwiches. Thinking a package of the oriental soup mix I have along with some salmon salad sandwiches.

Thursday

Clean out the fridge. Pretty sure there will be stir fry leftover.

Friday

Tuna Pasta Salad. I think it is time to start my main dish salads and this is a fav of ours.

Saturday

Smoked beef sausages, potatoes, and salad.

Sunday

Roast beef, potatoes, and roast carrots.

Tonight I hope to get a bit of baking done. I am planning on a Chocolate Zucchini cake, and perhaps some more Rhubarb Bars. This should help with our sweet tooth for the week.

Everybody have a wonderful day.

God bless.

  1. Funny, I just pretty much said the same thing on my blog post. Trying to get back into the swing of things. I've had enough of everything else!

Man, those mushroom smothered pork chops has me drooling. Yum!

  2. I so wish my son would eat salads - I love them but he doesn't, so I tend to have them for lunch and we eat a bigger meal in the evening.

    Take care and stay well!

  3. It really feels as though many of us have hit a blah stage after such a prolonged period of mainly being home based, of if still at work, things are not as they would normally be. I very much enjoy being at home, and having my husband here working, but the past week or so I have had a bit of a slump.

Chocolate cake and rhubarb bars sound like the right sort of thing to raise spirits though.

  4. Still not doing even weekly plans, but have been lucky to have left-over meals. Love left-over meals!!!

Heat returning on Wed., so planning on a tuna salad and stuffed eggs and fresh lettuce, from son/Dear daughter in law's garden next door. They "got carried away" and planted toooooo muuuuch lettuce! lol

But it is delightful!!!! Pick it. Wash it. Eat it.

In a "perfect plan", we'd do every meal, in Crock Pot, in summer. Or salads. And make Crock Pot Veggie Soup. With every-veggis-known-to-man-kind!!!!

    Enjoy your Weekly Plan!
