The hours slipped by very quickly today, probably because I was busy putting together another quilt top and then later working on the prayers shawl. Both are almost done. I have two seams left to do on the quilt top and probably another 7 or 8 inches to knit on the shawl.
On to the frugal happenings this week.
1. All leftovers (well I did have to toss a tablespoonful of leftover salad) were used up this week.
2. Savings at the grocery amounted to $10.89. Not as much as previously, but still a pretty good savings.
3. Got a free loaf of rye bread for spending $75.00 or more on groceries.
4. Watching some free TV series and movies on the box.
5. Still reading free novels that I downloaded onto my ereader. Need to download a few more this weekend.
6. Using scrap material to make something useful and clearing out the sewing/craft room at the same time.
Everybody have a wonderful evening.
God bless.
Great Frugal Friday, Jackie! I have spent zero money today. I was supposed to have lunch with a childhood friend but I woke up with a stomach bug at 4:00 in the morning. Lunch cancelled! Justin started with the bug an hour or so ago. From what I've heard it hits the whole family in quick succession. Waiting for Gabby or Ron to join the group. Kaiden is at his father's. Hope he doesn't get sick while away.
ReplyDeleteI don't often comment on your Frugal Friday posts but I like to read them to see how someone else does the "little things which add up". I think items 1 and 6 are as much about respect for the created world as saving money.
ReplyDeleteSo very correct!

Oh dear, Jackie .. looks like Neha Mumbai Escorts has found you. Well done on the frugal choices .. many little things added together can make a difference.
ReplyDeleteThey have found me a few times, but usually I manage to keep up with deleting them. I don't want to moderate messages if I can help it.
