Sunday Ramblings

Well, I have slowly but surely found most if not all my favourite blogs, and have even added a few I had bookmarked. There are still some missing, but they will eventually be found and added as time passed.

I watched Mass from the comfort of my home again this week. Since our diocese and provincial health board is only allowing 30 to meet at a time this is the safest way for us to follow our faith. I am actually quite enjoying the ability to attend in my pj's every so often.

I have started my decluttering for the year, and managed to get the living room completed over three days of a bit here and a bit there. There is still a bit of clutter, but that clutter consists of projects I am working on. Hopefully one will be completed in a couple of months (temperature blanket for the year we were married).

Tomorrow, decluttering the office area and the dining room will wait and I will work on some extra cleaning. Time to wash the baseboards, dust the chair railing and clean switches. I am also planning on writing a couple of letters resigning from the Parish Pastoral Council. I am not really liking the way things are heading, the favouritism shown, or the fact that we are way over budget for the year. It is time to step back and let others take over. Hopefully I will have them ready to be dropped off at the church offices on Thursday of this week.

I also need to get the photos from Christmas off my camera. I will share them with you in the coming week.

I have changed my dental appointment for this week. With the uptick in Covid-19 cases, I just do not feel safe in going at this point in time. This even though I know every precaution will be taken.

Everybody have a wonderful evening.

God bless.

  1. I'm glad to hear you got your blog list straightened out. It seems like things on our blogs do not always work like they are supposed to and that makes me a little nervous if I change anything.

It sounds like you have a lot planned to get done tomorrow. I have gotten slow about getting things accomplished but I keep trying! Take care Jackie!

  2. I haven't been to the dentist in over a year. It will be a good thing when we can finally go again. I don't seem to have any problems at the moment, so I'm hoping no work will be needed when I do go back.

  3. You have wasted no time at all with your decluttering! Good for you, getting right to it! :)
Delaying a dental appointment was never something I minded doing although getting one over with, even just a cleaning, was a good thing too! haha

  4. Well doen with the decluttering!
I have cancelled a lot of appointments such as hair cuts etc, it's the safest way.

  5. You are very wise to practice your faith from a distance. This new strain is up to 70% more contagious. WOW I'm impressed with your decluttering so soon into the new year!
