Sunday Ramblings

We had a lovely visit with Kris and a great trip to the Regina Floral Conservatory.

Here are a few pictures from the Conservatory, a place that I will definitely be visiting again. Kris says it is a wonderful place to have your lunch on those really cold days in the city.

I took many more pictures, but will share those with you another time perhaps. An oasis in the middle of a cold winter.

Kris has been growing veggies in his basement, hydroponically. He set up his system by himself.

Things are growing really well. He has three peppers and a tomato growing. Lush and perfect. He even has flowers that he is hand pollinating so as to get the fruit.

I didn't manage to get all my shopping done, but since I have to go back at the end of next month for my results I will finish it then.

Off to visit as many of you as possible before I have to finish putting together our supper. Which has been changed (yet again) as I pulled out leftover pork roast instead of chicken.... Must label things better.

Everybody have a wonderful evening.
God bless.

  1. We all do that, don't we? Surprise dinners can be very nice (or a bit of a disaster). I'm really glad you had such a lovely time and the photos look lovely. Thanks for sharing. xx

  3. Thanks for the reminder about the conservatory. I've been looking for things to do with my friend C, and I think we'd both enjoy a visit to the gardens.
Wow, Kris' indoor garden is going very well. I want to start some seeds next week but I don't have proper grow lights so my results are always hit and miss.
