I have started supper as Harvey is hungry and can't wait until Kris gets home (Kris texted at about 4:45 that he had left the city, but with construction it will take him until about 7:00 pm before he gets home, probably closer to half past seven). So we will eat and then I will dish Kris up once he is settled in.
Frugal happenings around the old homestead for the past week:
1. No air conditioning for the past 5 days. Got to love that.
2. Used up the bits and bobs of cotton fabric I had, cutting out masks for Kurt's students. Of course there was some new fabric as well, but that was used up as well.
3. Hung all the clothes on the line to dry.
4. Dehydrated more herbs for use this winter.
5. Froze more tomatoes.
6. Harvey dug up all the white potatoes. There were a great many but none got really big.
Everybody have a wonderful evening.
God bless.
It was a lovely Friday here. Have a great Labour Day weekend, Jackie.
ReplyDeleteI've liked not having the a/c either, but I'm not ready to turn on the furnace either.
