Thrifty Tuesday

 

Little thrifty things have taken place this past week. 

We have been adding the soil from my boxes, baskets and pots to the garden to build it up a bit more.

Cooking has taken the cook once and eat at least twice path. After all having the oven or stove top on you may as well make a double batch of whatever. 

Leftovers as usual have made it into another meal or been used for lunches.

This week I decided that if the sink was filled with water to do those dishes that can not be put into the dishwasher, I might as well use to wash the ceiling fans, window sills, and the shelves in the fridge. I do that first and then wash those dirty pots.

Harvey started our Christmas wines... Much less expensive to make our own.
